NewsThe Marie Curie Final Meeting and Sleep Symposium in Brussels January 2009 The Marie Curie Sleep Restriction project is ending soon. The Final Meeting was held in Brussels on January 28th, 2009.On this occasion we arranged a Sleep Symposium that tookplace on January 29th. The Final Meeting was held in a relaxed atmosphere where we had the opportunity to present the outcome of the project to our Project Officer Mr Frank Marx. There was a fruitful discussion about the future of the researchers in the network their possibilities to stay in touch with the EU and the different grants that are availbale for reintegration etc. The Sleep Symposium was a great success, with over 80 registered participants. The topics covered different aspects of restricted sleep and its impact on peoples health. There was a very lively discussion after each presentation and it seemed like everyone found something new and interesting in their specific research field. There was also a press release made, and Prof. Sara Arber from the University of Surrey was interviewed by BBC early in the morning. Please click on this link to find the recorded interview!
